This message is for all invited speakers and chairs in preparation for your roles in the program of the 5th World Parkinson Congress (WPC 2019), taking place June 4-7 in Kyoto. Please read carefully.

All speakers who have submitted an invited abstract are expected to prepare a PowerPoint (PPTX) presentation for same.

TRANSLATION: Some English PPTX slides will be translated to maximize visibility of your presentation to the local Japanese audience. For those that are translated, we'll alert you ahead of time so you area aware of the room set up. There will be a main screen where the speaker shows his/her slides, and a side screen where the Japanese deck will scroll at the same time.

UPLOAD: You will receive separate instructions for upload of your completed PPTX file through an online form, to be made available in April.

DEADLINE: Your near final PowerPoint deck must be uploaded, without exception, by Wednesday, May 1, to ensure sufficient time for translation.

CHANGES AFTER UPLOAD: If corrections required after upload, these must be done on site in the Speaker Ready Room.

Please confirm to us at secretariat@worldpdcoalition.org if you plan to include any slides that require Internet connection, e.g. video or sound recordings.

If you have not yet had a conference call with your session chair and fellow speakers, you can expect to hear from the WPC team for a date on a call to bring together everyone involved in your session(s). (You will be contacted separately by Brittany Marti.)

Note that all sessions, except for Roundtables, will have questions submitted via the mobile app. This will require all Chairs/Moderators to be trained on how to view the questions and access them as they are submitted during the talks. Information on this is forthcoming.

All presentations will be made from a podium on stage. If you have any mobility requirements, please confirm to us at secretariat@worldpdcoalition.org.

We are grateful for your participation in the dynamic scientific program planned for WPC 2019! For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at secretariat@worldpdcoalition.org.
